In 2023, Lanzhou Petrochemical strengthened professional management, continuously improved the production capacity of the plant, and strived for high and stable yield of NBR. According to the idea of "expanding production and quantity of general products, improving market share, promoting technology upgrading and market cultivation", the company formulated the production optimization plan, and the production capacity of each device was fully released. At the same time, the company gives full play to the advantages of technical experts to tackle difficult problems and solve the bottleneck problems that affect the production capacity of the device; Taking advantage of the opportunity of overhaul, the potential safety hazards of the plant were eliminated, and the automatic control system of some plants was upgraded, which laid the foundation for high load and stable production of NBR plant.

In order to improve the market competitiveness of products, Lanzhou Petrochemical has vigorously carried out research on high-end and special brand NBR, implemented measures such as "one product, one policy" and unveiled the list, and strived to develop new rubber products. The industrial production of eight new products was realized throughout the year, with the total amount of new products reaching 4,020 tons, with both types and quantities reaching record highs. At present, Lanzhou Petrochemical rubber products cover most general and some special nitrile rubbers, such as low nitrile, medium nitrile, high nitrile, carboxyl and poly-stable. It is the largest producer of NBR in China and the third in the world, with a domestic market share of over 40%.
