Unconventional resources, represented by shale oil and gas and tight oil and gas, will become the most important field for increasing reserves and production in the future.Experts predict that CNPC's proven unconventional oil and gas reserves during the 14th Five-Year Plan period will account for about 70% of the total proven oil and gas reserves, and the newly built oil and gas capacity will account for more than 50% of the total newly built oil and gas capacity.Sinopec and CNOOC have also formulated unconventional oil and gas development strategies in the new period.Therefore, this forum will focus on the theme of "Challenges and Opportunities in the Integration of Oil and Gas Geo-engineering and the Path to Scale Efficiency Development of Continental Shale Oil in China".
